In order to better promote the development of the industry and protect the interests of users, AliExpress has updated the following contents of the Global AliExpress Platform Rules (Seller Rules). Please read it carefully and know:

Basic Rules - Chapter 1 Basic Obligations of Sellers, Article 6

Article 6 Protect consumers' right to know and fulfill the obligation of information disclosure. The obligation to publish goods shall be truthfully described, including but not limited to providing a true and complete description of the information that must be explained to buyers on the basic attributes, color, defects, etc. of the product in the channels provided by all platforms such as the product description page, store page, TradeManager (or Tradelink). Article 8 If the seller does not abide by the provisions of this chapter and seriously violates the seller's basic obligations, AliExpress reserves the right to carry out market management in accordance with these rules. In bad circumstances, AliExpress has the right to immediately clear the seller.

Basic Rules - Chapter II Transactions - Section 7 Logistics, Article 37 - Delivery Logistics Method (1)

(1) Sellers can independently choose the logistics services used for delivery, including but not limited to online logistics service providers on the rookie platform, rookie worry-free logistics or other offline logistics methods. However, if there are special regulations for delivery platforms in some countries, the seller shall do so in accordance with these provisions.

(1) Based on the platform-based logistics policy, sellers can independently choose the logistics services used for delivery, including but not limited to online logistics service providers on the rookie platform, rookie worry-free logistics or other offline logistics methods. However, if there are special regulations for delivery platforms in some countries, the seller shall do so in accordance with these provisions. Whether the seller chooses online or offline logistics services, the seller shall accurately and comprehensively disclose the relevant information of logistics services to the buyer, including but not limited to the logistics service fees charged by the seller to the buyer, and the additional logistics fees charged by the offline logistics service provider designated by the seller to the buyer (such as logistics service fees, customs duties, VAT, etc.) etc. If the seller fails to accurately disclose the relevant information of logistics services to the buyer in accordance with the above provisions and the buyer raises a dispute, the buyer has the right to cancel the transaction, and the seller shall bear the full cost of the part that has not been truthfully informed.

If the seller is in the EU (including the existing 28 EU member states and other member states that may increase in the future, the existing EU member states are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy. , Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom) with warehouses and goods sold on AliExpress platforms ("overseas warehouses"), sellers should make declarations to AliExpress. The seller shall make a declaration to AliExpress through the system (platform background-overseas warehouse) within three working days after the establishment of the overseas warehouse. If the seller violates the above-mentioned overseas warehouse declaration obligations, it constitutes a violation. AliExpress has the right to take illegal measures and restrict the seller from selling some or all of the goods to a specific country. If the seller causes other losses to AliExpress in violation of regulations, AliExpress has the right to take other penalties against the seller in accordance with these rules, and reserves all the right to seek legal remedies.

Basic Rules - Chapter II Transactions - Section 9 After-sales Treasure Service, Article 50 - Inapplicable to After-sales Treasure

Article 50 The situation of after-sales treasure shall not apply. For disputes or other disputes over goods that do not apply to after-sales treasure services under these rules, you, as the seller and the responsible person, shall still perform obligations and bear relevant responsibilities to the buyer. For further clarification, these cases that do not apply to after-sales treasure include but are not limited to:

(1) Logistics disputes such as "not received goods" or "time-limited timeout" raised by the buyer;

(2) The buyer has short packaging, under-issued or empty boxes due to the receipt of the goods;

(3) Disputes raised by buyers for unreasonable returns, including but not limited to: the buyer placed the wrong order, the buyer no longer needs the order products, the buyer buys lower-priced and high-quality products, etc.

(4) Order disputes of sellers whose account number is disable. In order to avoid ambiguity, after the seller's account is closed for any reason, any order in his transaction will no longer enjoy after-sales service.

Article 55 Calculation of Positive Feedback Ratings, Commodity Ratings and Feedback Score:

(I) Orders with a turnover amount of less than $1 are not included in the praise rate and commodity score. ( The transaction amount is the amount paid by the buyer minus the refund amount on sale, excluding after-sales refunds);

(2) The evaluation of special commodities such as freight/price difference, gift categories, customized commodities, etc. is not included in the praise rate and commodity score. In addition to the above cases, the evaluation will normally calculate the merchant praise rate and the merchant/commodity rating. Regardless of the order amount, it is unified as: four stars, five stars +1, three stars 0, one stars and two stars -1.

Sellers should market in a legal, compliant and reasonable manner. Without the buyer's prior consent, the seller shall not contact the buyer by disturbing the buyer, including but not limited to sending emails, making phone calls, sending text messages for marketing purposes, and contacting buyers through the system services provided by AliExpress platform.

 

The updated AliExpress Platform Rules (Seller Rules) will take effect on August 6, 2019.
