        In order to enhance the full-link shopping experience of platform consumers and create a healthy, orderly, fair and just business environment for sellers, the platform will gradually increase efforts to strictly control and manage product quality. Therefore, the platform hopes that sellers will continue to pay attention to the product quality of the store as always, and make timely adjustments and optimizations for products with poor quality indicators (refer to the main indicators such as the dispute rate of wrong version of goods), so as to improve the quality of store products, thereby improving store conversion and repurchase rate, etc. positive indicators.

The AliExpress platform will restart the assessment based on the two important indicators of the store category dimension in the past 90 days, "the average score of DSR product description" and "the rate of disputes over the wrong version of the goods", and the platform will be based on the analysis and positioning of various industry service indicators. The "category assessment indicators" for some industries have been improved and adjusted, and the first assessment of the changed indicators will be implemented on August 10, 2020. Sellers can log in to "Seller Backstage - Account and Authentication - Store Category Indicators" to view the "current value" and "assessment standard value" of the currently operating category (the new data indicators will be updated in mid-July, please pay close attention to all merchants. Pay attention, and the actual display time in the background shall prevail).

Assessment method

On the assessment day, if any of the above two assessment indicators fails to meet the standard, the corresponding category management authority will be closed and the corresponding products will be removed from the shelves. Until the next assessment day, the category permissions will be restored. At that time, please list the products corresponding to the relevant categories by yourself.

*There is a delay of about 2 natural days in the data. Taking the first assessment on August 10 as an example, the assessment index period is 24:00 on August 8 and the data is pushed forward for nearly 90 days (0:00 on May 11 to August 8). 24 o'clock).

 

FAQ:

1. Q: If the products in my store involve multiple categories, and one of the categories is offline because the indicators do not meet the assessment standards, will it affect the operation of other categories?

Answer: No. We will only remove all the products under the category that do not meet the target, and have no effect on other products.

 

2. Q: Once the assessment indicators of a certain category fail to meet the standards, will the products under the corresponding category be removed from the shelves?

Answer: Yes. If your "average DSR product description score" or "dispute filing rate of inappropriate goods" for a category in the past 90 days has not met the standard, all products under the corresponding category will be removed from the shelves.

 

3. Q: Can I continue to operate after 3 months?

Answer: Yes. When your category assessment fails to meet the standard, the category management authority can be restored after the next assessment. If the category assessment in your store operation is not up to standard, the category authority will be withdrawn and the product will be removed from the shelves again.

 

4.  If the account is approved due to category assessment, and the account has applied for the management of the major category and then joins, will the originally approved sub-category management authority be restored?

Answer: It will not be restored immediately. It will be restored at the next assessment time according to the rules.

 

5.  After downloading the form, it is found that some categories do not exist. Why?

A: If the category corresponding to your product is not found in the downloaded assessment criteria, it means that the category service index assessment will not be conducted for the time being.
