What are the order states?
  • Orders can be categorized in different states.

    1】 Awaiting payment: Orders that the buyer has not yet paid. 

    Please note: Please do not ship orders in this state, as these orders may be cancelled at any time!

    Please pay attention to the message sent by the these buyers, they may have problems with the payment.

    For orders in this state, you can negotiate with the buyer a new price You will have the option to "Adjust price" from my orders:

    However, the buyer has a time limit to pay for the order.  If the buyer has not paid for a certain period of time, it will be automatically canceled.

    Recommendation:

    • If you do not want the stock of your product to be affected by these types of orders, select the option for Stock deduction based on payments in "Stock deduction method" while publishing or editing your products. This option means that the products in the stock will be discounted when the payment of the order is completed. It will not be carried out if payment is not made.

    • You can attract buyers to pay as soon as possible by issuing coupons to them.

    2】To be canceled/ Buyer applied for cancellation: Buyers cannot cancel the order directly if the payment has been processed by AliExpress. When you receive this cancellation request, you will be given the option of accepting or rejecting that request.

    If the buyer's payment has not yet been processed (which can take up to 24 hours from the time of the order), they can cancel the order without sending you any request.

    3】Awaiting shipment: In this case, the order is waiting for you to ship and add the shipping notice.

    4】Payment processing: The buyer has finished the payment, but the funds have not been transferred to AliExpress. We recommend that the order not be sent until this process is finished and the order has changed to the status "Awaiting shipment".

    5】Awaiting buyer confirmation: Once the order has been shipped, the buyer has the option to confirm their order.Once confirmed, the order will become "Completed".

    6】Order finalized: Order has been completed or closed. 
    The order will be completed when the seller or buyer has not taken any action during the protection of the buyer, such as opening a dispute;
    The order is automatically closed when the order has been canceled by the buyer and the proposal has been accepted by the seller.
