For most AliExpress buyers and AliExpress sellers, disputes may need to be handled in the global AliExpress transaction process. AliExpress's dispute is that if buyers and sellers do not reach a consensus during the transaction, either of them can submit a dispute application to AliExpress and invite AliExpress to deal with the problem as a third party. However, in my opinion, I suggest that AliExpress sellers may need to try their best to reach AliExpress buyers. Become a consensus and solve disputes by yourself. In this article, I will introduce how to submit disputes on AliExpress.
So what should AliExpress buyers do if they want to submit a dispute application with the seller? Depending on the delivery period of the order, it can be divided into two situations. The first is to use commercial express delivery. If the delivery period expires after 5 days, the buyer can file a dispute. The second type uses ordinary express delivery. On the fifth day after the delivery of the goods, the buyer can file a dispute.

In addition, there are two situations in which buyers may dispute, that is, AliExpress buyers have received goods and AliExpress buyers have not received any goods.
AliExpress buyer did not receive the goods in the AliExpress dispute handling process AliExpress buyers did not receive the goods for the following reasons.
The first is that buyers can't use the logistics order number to track the logistics details. The second situation is that the package is actually on the way to the end customer.
In another case, the goods were seized by customs.
The fourth case is that the buyer submits the wrong shipping address.
Sellers need to check their inbox, whether it is mailboxes or the information center on AliExpress, to ensure that every item sent is delivered to the correct shipping address. In addition, AliExpress sellers need to inform buyers that if the buyer changes their addresses or the buyer does not pay taxes and fees to the customs, the goods will be returned to the seller. In addition, sellers also need to note that parcels shipped by ordinary express will be returned free of charge, but if they are shipped by commercial express, the cost of returning goods is quite high once a return occurs. Therefore, AliExpress sellers need to process the return fee through negotiation with the buyer.
AliExpress buyers have received the goods in the AliExpress dispute resolution process
If AliExpress buyers have received the goods, they still submit dispute applications for the following reasons, including product quality problems, product damage, wrong mode of transportation, sale of fake goods, etc.
It is reported that once the buyer submits a dispute application on AliExpress, the seller needs to respond to the dispute within 5 days. If the seller on AliExpress does not respond, buyers can ask AliExpress to intervene to make a judgment. In addition, from the effective date of the judgment, AliExpress provides sellers and buyers with a 10-day processing period for negotiated dispute resolution.
In addition, if the goods are being shipped to the receiving address during the commitment period, the judgment will not take effect. At the same time, AliExpress may generate defective order records for disputes. AliExpress sellers should check all the bad reviews on my Global AliExpress in time. Therefore, I strongly suggest that sellers should try to negotiate with buyers in order to deal with all disputes, so as to avoid adjudicating through AliExpress intervention.
In the process of ruling on Global AliExpress, AliExpress calculates liability by seller rates, which means that AliExpress will take a one-time claim to determine who is responsible for the dispute. This rate is calculated as follows:
Seller's liability rate = the seller's liability awarded by AliExpress in the last 90 days / the total number of orders in the last 90 days.
That is to say, sellers should not take risks to adjudicate disputes with buyers, because once the seller is responsible, they may face AliExpress punishment. More importantly, sellers should pay attention to keeping all backed up order details in a timely manner, including emails, order

 tracking details, chat records, etc.
In addition, if the buyer does not submit a refund for the order, this means that they can only submit the dispute to AliExpress to request a refund. At the same time, once the refund is returned to the buyer's account, AliExpress may charge part of the relevant fee. The following are the basic fees that AliExpress may charge:
a. After the order is completed, AliExpress charges 5% of the funds. Including shipping and order amount)
b. Account registration, account verification, product list, and online store opening fees are completely free of charge;
c. If store members withdraw, AliExpress will charge $15.
In short, buyers can protect their rights on AliExpress by submitting disputes, but they should first try to communicate or negotiate with the seller. The seller shall also respond to each dispute or judgment as soon as possible and resolve it through negotiation as much as possible. It should be noted that sellers should take the initiative to communicate with buyers to avoid bad reviews.
